Oral Surgery Assistant

As a Dental Assistant specializing in Implant Dentistry and Surgical Support, you will play an essential role in transforming how we deliver advanced dental care, supporting both the surgical and restorative aspects of implant procedures and basic oral surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during implant surgeries, ensuring a sterile, organized, and efficient operating environment.
  • Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment for implant procedures.
  • Take accurate 3D scans, digital impressions, and radiographs to aid in treatment planning and surgical guides.
  • Provide chairside assistance during implant placements, bone grafting, and sinus lift surgeries.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop customized patient care plans, offering education and support before, during, and after surgeries.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting all surgical procedures, materials used, and post-operative instructions.
  • Manage surgical supplies inventory and ensure that all necessary equipment is stocked and ready for use.
  • Monitor patient comfort during procedures and provide post-operative care instructions.
  • Help integrate advanced technologies such as guided implant surgery and digital workflows into daily operations.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest implant technologies, surgical techniques, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Active dental assisting permit required; Radiology certification required. DAANCE preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification
  • 2+ years of experience in implant dentistry and/or surgical assisting.
  • Proficient in digital imaging, dental software, and implant technology.
  • Strong knowledge of implant procedures, anatomy, and surgical instruments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
