Oral Surgery Assistant

Sunrise Oral Surgery is looking to hire a full-time oral surgery assistant that has existing experience working at an oral surgery office. We are an oral surgery only office that focuses on extractions and implants. Our team consists of highly experienced and talented oral surgeons and dentists, and an office manager that's committed to providing the best possible care to our patients. We are eager to learn from you and also teach what we have learned. Our goal is to provide a work environment that encourages the staff to be the best version of themselves professionally and personally.

Pay:

Pay depends on experience and certifications. Looking to pay within the $26-30/hr range.

Hours:

Dental assistant hours are 7:45am - 4:30pm. We are open Monday-Friday

Duties:

- Assist the surgeon during procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take x-rays
- Educate patients and provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling as needed

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Knowledge and experience assisting in surgeries involving IV and oral sedation
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care
