Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a compassionate individual who is eager to learn and grow within the dental field.
Duties
- Assist oral surgeon during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take X-rays/ CT's and ensure proper handling of radiographic equipment.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor vital signs as needed during procedures.
- Assist with all procedures, ensuring all materials are prepared and available.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing the dental receptionist duties when required.
- Educate patients on pre and post treatment instructions.
- X-ray ceritfication is mandatory or must be willing to obtain an x-ray certification within 90 days of accepting the position.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with dental systems, infection control protocols, and assisting techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
