Oral Surgery Assistant

Busy Oral Surgery Practice in the Concord/Lexington area in search of part time surgical assistant for Thursdays and Fridays. Some of the duties you can expect in this position include, but are not limited to, assisting the surgeon with local anesthesia and IV sedation surgeries, educate patients on pre-op and post-op instructions, review patient health history, provide diagnostic information through x-rays, take surgical guide impressions, sterilize instruments, maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with OSHA infection control policies. There is some light office cleaning. We are looking for a candidate who is outgoing, friendly, detailed orientated & excited to learn new skills. Some travel between locations may be required.

Required Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Dental Assisting License

Radiology Certificate

CPR/AED

Preferred Certifications:

DAANCE Certification
