Position Overview:

We are looking for an adaptable, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individual to join our surgical team. This person must embody our practice’s core values: BLS

This is a full-time, on-site position in a private oral surgery practice. As a member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, working closely with the surgeon and team while supporting a smooth, efficient clinical workflow.

You will be a key part of the patient experience, from pre-surgical preparation and readiness to providing skilled chairside support during procedures. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong teamwork, and the ability to adapt quickly are essential.

** Please note: training will take place at our Gibsonton office located at 13127 Kings Lake Dr, Unit 102, Gibsonton, FL 33534

Office Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 6:30am-3:30pm

Friday: 6:30am-2:30pm

Primary duties include (but are not limited to):

• Prepare exam rooms and surgical rooms
• Assist with IV sedation and surgical procedures
• Take panoramic and CBCT scans
• Educate patients on pre-op and post-op instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts
• Sterilize instruments and manage infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a dental or oral surgery assistant (preferred)
• Certification of DAANCE preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• BLS/CPR certification (required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8 hour shift and lift 50+ lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
