Oral Surgery Assistant

Starr Oral Surgery is seeking a motivated, energetic, and compassionate Surgical Assistant to join our growing team! We are looking for someone who is professional, dependable, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced oral surgery environment.

Full-Time Schedule

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Includes a 1-hour lunch break
No weekends!

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (Required)
• BLS/CPR Certification (Required)
• Radiology License (Required or Actively Pursuing)

Responsibilities

• Assist with oral surgery procedures and monitor patient vitals during surgery
• Prepare and disinfect surgical suites
• Obtain 2D and 3D radiographic images
• Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
• Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Greet and escort patients throughout their visit
• Accurately document treatment notes and medical/dental records
• Assist with inventory and supply management

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred
• Oral surgery experience is a plus, but not required
