Oral Surgery Assistant

We are looking for a responsible Certified Dental Assistant to support the doctor's work and actively facilitate patient's recovery. We are a busy 3 doctor practice in Bothell. You will assist the doctors in surgery and consultations, sterilization and stocking. 1 year of Dental Assisting experience required.

Your schedule would be 6:30- 4:30 4 days a week.

DAANCE certification is a plus. We are willing to train but candidate is expected to take and pass the DAANCE certification test within 6 months to 1 year after hire.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions
• Assist doctors in local and general anesthesia surgeries
• Attend to emergencies
• Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures (measure blood pressure and temperature)
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients
• Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Take panoramic x-ray and CBCT scans
• Sterilization
• Stocking supplies

• Proven work experience as a dental assistant
• Knowledge of medical guidelines
• Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
• Caring and compassionate
• Team player with good communication skills
• BLS
• DAANCE and ACLS certification a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
