Oral Surgery Assistant - DAANCE Certified

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Oral Surgery Assistant who is DAANCE Certified to join our team. The Oral Surgery Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of all dental instruments and equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to strict infection control protocols.

Duties:

-Sterilize instruments and participate in equipment maintenance
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures by setting up instruments and materials
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed
- Assist dental professionals with chairside duties as required
- Follow proper infection control procedures to prevent the spread of disease
- Keep accurate records of sterilization processes and maintain documentation
- Perform routine maintenance on sterilization equipment

-Communicate with referrals and other medical providers

-Obtaining CBCT/radiographs and digital photos

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent

- DAANCE Certification
- Previous experience working in an oral surgery clinic
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
