Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

We are looking to expand our back office staff and hire a Dental Surgical Assistant to join our work family. Looking for that right someone that is a team player, with a positive attitude. The right candidate will take patient care and their job responsibilities seriously. We are a fast paced office, so must be able to work quickly and efficiently. Patients are priority here so applicants must have great people skills.

We have 2 office locations that all staff members travel to- TRAVELING IS A MUST!!!! RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS A MUST!!! (Denver and Brighton office locations)

Denver location: Inside Pima Medical Institute- 7475 Dakin Street, Suite 643, Denver, 80221

Brighton location: 27 South 18th Avenue, Brighton, 80601

This position is for full-time:

(Schedule is based on patient surgical schedule)

Mondays- 7:45 am- 4:00pm (Denver)

Tuesdays- 7:45 am - 4:00pm (Brighton)

Wednesdays- Most Wednesdays off

(we do open up our schedule on Wednesdays if needed from 7:45- 1:00)

Thursdays: 7:45 am- 4:00pm ( Brighton)

Fridays: 7: 45am- 4:00pm (Denver)

Oral surgery experience is preferred, but not required. MUST HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE OR SCHOOLING

Job duties include:

- Assist doctor during surgical procedures- most common surgical procedures are wisdom teeth removal, implant placement, extractions, biopsies, bone grafts, and expose and bonds.

- Sterilization of instruments

- Monitor Patient vital signs

- Go over patients health history

- Take periapical, Panoramic, and 3D images- We use digital and film x-rays

- Stock surgical rooms

- Order surgical supplies if needed

- Assist office manager with filling and front office duties if needed

Compensation is based on experience level.
