Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures by preparing instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, and ensuring patient comfort through chairside assistance.
- Take X-rays, including 3D scans
- Manage patient intake by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, verifying insurance information, and collecting necessary documentation.
- Handle front desk duties such as greeting patients, answering phone calls, managing appointment calendars, and processing payments efficiently.
- Knowledge of DSN Practice Management Software.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient readiness for procedures while demonstrating knowledge of dental and medical terminology.
- Support infection control practices and sterilization procedures to uphold the highest standards of safety within the dental clinic.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting with familiarity in dental assisting and front desk operations.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and aseptic technique to ensure patient privacy and safety.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology.
- Ability to perform X-ray imaging, including 3D scanning techniques.
- Experience in Oral Surgery is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients of all ages and coordinating effectively with the dental team.
