Order Clerk II

Summary/Scope of Work

The Order Clerk II will identify and procure the goods and services that is required through the use of commercial and governmental resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify external material needs of the organization
• Locate service process who can supply the necessary goods
• Negotiate for competitive prices
• Arrange for the purchase and delivery of goods
• Maintain records of prices, delivery dates, inventory, and data related to each transaction
• Utilize database/tracking system to process orders

Qualifications:

• One (1) to three (3) years general purchasing experience
• Familiar with TS-MATS, TADSS and Microsoft Office
• Ability to pass a background check, DOD Security Clearance preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• US Citizen
• Ability to work effectively, and contribute positively, as a team member
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships, professional demeanor, and attitude
