Job description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual to join our team. As the Order & Data Specialist, you’ll be the bridge between our customers, kitchen, and delivery teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately and operational data is clean, organized, and actionable. You will process daily meal orders with precision, analyze order and sales data, and provide insights to support menu planning, reporting, and process improvements. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in helping clients streamline their workplace dining experience. Your work will directly ensure that thousands of fresh, wholesome meals reach workplaces across the Bay Area each week—fueling teams and building community through food. Key Responsibilities

• Enter and update client orders in the ordering platform (menu items, quantities, requirements, timing).
• Manage the orders email inbox and promptly respond to client inquiries, tracking trends and recurring issues to inform process improvements.
• Input and manage orders from third-party aggregators.
• Rotate menus, add new items, and maintain accuracy across systems and product databases.
• Provide customer support by troubleshooting accounts and resolving order issues.
• Create and maintain customer-facing resources, including onboarding guides and support templates.
• Coordinate with office, kitchen, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth order flow.
• Document and refine standard operating procedures to improve efficiency, using data insights to guide improvements.
• Track and analyze sales data for products and menus using ordering platform reports, providing actionable insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Support automation projects across operational systems and workflows.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in order processing, customer service, food services, logistics, or data/operations reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Google Workplace (especially Google Sheets), including creating reports, dashboards, or data tracking tools.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and leverage data and research to make informed decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Schedule: Variable, typically 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Salary: $55-60,000 (based on experience - opportunity for increase based on performance)
