Order Fulfilment supervisor

The Order Fulfilment Supervisor is a pivotal role in managing the order processing and delivery operations within a warehouse or distribution center. This position is vital for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, thereby enhancing overall customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. The supervisor will lead a dedicated team of order fulfilment staff, manage inventory levels, and apply best practices to streamline operations. This role demands strong leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily order fulfilment operations to ensure timely processing and delivery of customer orders.
  • Manage and train a team of order fulfilment associates, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory management team to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and accuracy in order processing.
  • Conduct regular audits of order fulfilment processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve order-related issues and enhance customer experience.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on order fulfilment metrics to track performance and identify trends.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting best practices among staff.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize order fulfilment processes and reduce operational costs.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and order processing software, including knowledge of Shopify and ERP systems like Odoo.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in order management systems and warehouse management software.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and logistics operations.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with Shopify platform and ERP systems such as Odoo.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,300.00 - AED6,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
