The Ordering Executive – Purchase is responsible for managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, tracking material availability, and ensuring timely procurement of goods and services. This role supports the purchasing department by maintaining accurate records, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring cost-effective and timely sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, issue, and follow up on purchase orders (POs) based on material requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure order accuracy.
  • Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Maintain updated supplier information, price lists, and purchase records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
  • Communicate with internal departments (production, stores, accounts) to clarify requirements.
  • Resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues, and supplier-related concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and company standards.
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly purchase reports.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of purchase processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
