Organ Transport Driver

MTJ is looking for a full-time Organ Transport Driver to join our team in the Baltimore area. This is a unique opportunity to serve the transplant community and support our mission.

Starting Salary: $42,000

Position Overview:

• Full time salaried/non-exempt role eligible for overtime compensation when actual drive time is over 40 hours in a workweek.
• On call with the ability to respond to transport needs within 1 – 2 hours’ notice.
• Schedule flexible to be discussed during interview process
• Provide professional ground transportation to customers and surgical teams to and from hospitals, airports, and other designated locations.
• Pick-up and deliver donated organs with the utmost care within the designated timeframe.
• Communicate and coordinate with scheduling team to ensure logistics of transportation is completed as specified.
• Ensure the company-provided vehicle is clean, well maintained, and in good working order.
• Obey all traffic laws and regulations and operate vehicles in a safe manner.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Current, former, or retired police officers, fire fighter or emergency medical services
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating police, fire, or EMS vehicles
• Ability to pass a pre-employment driver’s license screening and maintain a valid drivers’ license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Complete emergency vehicle operator’s and defensive driving course provided by the company
• Ability to operate an emergency vehicle in a high stress environment.
