Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced ORMB Techno-Functional Consultant who can work across both functional and technical areas of Oracle Revenue Management & Billing. The ideal candidate should have strong domain knowledge in banking/insurance billing processes along with hands-on experience in configuring, customizing, and supporting ORMB modules.
This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, participating in design discussions, developing technical solutions, managing integrations, and supporting ORMB environments across multiple phases of implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business users to understand requirements and translate them into ORMB solutions
- Lead enhancements and configurations across ORMB modules such as Billing, Pricing, Payments, Collections, and Customer Management
- Develop and manage batch jobs, inbound/outbound interfaces, APIs, and extensions
- Participate in solution design, documentation, and development of technical components
- Support SIT/UAT/Performance testing with issue analysis and resolution
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform impact assessment, and deliver timely fixes
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering best practices
- Manage ORMB configurations, deployments, and environment upgrades
- Assist automation teams by providing technical insights and supporting test suite development
- Ensure performance tuning and compliance with defined SLAs
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience across ORMB modules: Billing, Rates, Pricing, Payments, TFM, Collections
- Deep knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF)
- Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JSON, JavaScript, REST/SOAP Web Services
- Experience working with:
- Business Objects (BO), Maintenance Objects (MO)
- Service Scripts, Plug-in Scripts, BPA Scripts
- UI Maps, Zones, Portals
- Algorithm development (Algorithm Spots, Change Handlers, Batch Jobs)
- API development experience integrating ORMB with external systems
- Understanding of ORMB functional workflows in financial services
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of financial domain (Banking/Insurance)
- Experience working with large-scale financial/billing systems
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and lead functional discussions
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience providing L3 support is an added advantage
