Traveling Oral Surgery & Orthodontic Assistant

We are a growing multi-location dental specialty practice seeking an experienced and dependable Traveling Oral Surgery & Orthodontic Assistant to join our team in the Dallas area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well independently, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Schedule

• 1–2 days per week working remotely from home
• 3–4 days per week traveling between office locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during oral surgery and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Support patient flow and ensure an excellent patient experience
• Provide post-op and orthodontic care instructions to patients
• Manage and track clinical inventory and supply ordering
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain organized ordering systems
• Travel between offices as needed to support clinical operations
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Oral Surgery and/or Orthodontics required
• Experience with dental ordering and inventory management preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Dallas area
• Current RDA certification preferred
• Experience with digital charting and dental software is a plus
