ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Supervisory-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Assists the Medical Practice Clinic Manager in the operational management of the assigned clinic (s)/department(s) by conducting the following:
Provides direction, serves as a resource, and acts as a role model for staff to ensure comprehensive and safe patient care.
Manages staff for the assigned clinic(s)/department(s) including (PA, MD, RNs MAs.)
Assists clinic leadership in establishing unit-specific goals, determining work procedures, and expediting workflow.
Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Conducts performance evaluations and provides coaching, corrective action, and development planning.
Participates in hiring, promotion, disciplinary actions, and termination decisions.
Directly supervises assigned staff.
Exercises independent judgment in resolving operational, staffing, and patient flow issues
Makes decisions regarding staffing adjustments, workflow prioritization, and resource allocation
Develops and manages staff schedules and daily assignment coordination of all assigned clinic(s)/department(s).
Tracks staff leave coverage and ensures appropriate staffing coverage during leave requests.
Serves as the clinical resource for staff within the scope of training and credentials, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of care.
Provides operational support during critical staffing needs while maintaining leadership responsibilities to support operations and ensure continuity of services.
Trains new clinical staff and supports cross-training of existing staff.
Promotes teamwork and collaborations within and across clinic departments.
Acts as a mentor and clinical resource for staff in patient assessment, care planning, interventions, and problem-solving.
Participates in mandatory in-services and attends staff meetings.
Participates in process-improvement and interdepartmental initiatives.
Serves as the main point of contact when situations arise.
Position-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Ensures patients are scheduled correctly and in a timely manner.
Ensures clinical flow is efficient and supports achievement of target patient volumes and that quality measures are being met.
Ensures appropriate sterilization of instruments and training/oversight of staff performing sterilization and transport to central sterilization.
Demonstrates knowledge of emergencies and routine equipment and procedures.
Ensures a high standard of customer service and addresses patient concerns promptly and professionally.
Promotes a teamwork-based, patient-centered culture. Oversee patient flow, scheduling, and access to care, ensuring minimal wait times and seamless transitions.
Collaborates with providers and staff to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty.
Adheres to and maintains established policies and procedures for the assigned clinic(s)/department(s).
Supports compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) standards.
Assist with quality and safety activities such as chart reviews, audits, or data collection as directed.
Helps identify potential safety concerns and promptly reports them to leadership.
Manages relationships with representatives/vendors (drug, cosmeceutical, device).
Tracks inventory of all medications, supplies, products, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), and keeps all medications current with expirations.
Orders medications, supplies, products, and DME.
Triages referrals received for the assigned clinic(s)/department(s).
Organizes and coordinates Joint Program as availability allows.
Collaborates with marketing to ensure accurate messaging across all platforms. Helps manage patient feedback and online reputation in conjunction with marketing.
Outreaches to area physicians (referral base).
Performs other duties as assigned.

Actively contributes to departmental and organization-wide performance improvement and continuous quality initiatives.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining adherence to departmental, hospital, state, and federal standards and policies.
Follows all infection control, safety, and risk management procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients, the public, and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for positions requiring driving, with a valid driver’s license).
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Must successfully pass a background check.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.
