Overview
Welcome, we are Kids Care Dental and Orthodontics! We are a Pediatric/Orthodontic practice seeking a dedicated, fun and detail-oriented Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the growth of our orthodontic practice, providing exceptional patient service, and clinical/administrative support. We are looking for someone upbeat, friendly, and personable.
Duties
- New patient experience coordinator
- Greet new patients warmly and assist with the check-in process at the front desk.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently.
- Obtain x rays as indicated by the doctor
- Review treatment plans and payment plans
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance claims processing
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Be the main point of contact for new patients before, during and after their first office visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office environment.
- Collaborate with orthodontic staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in social media marketing campaigns per needed
- Marketing participation
- Manage social media accounts
Skills/Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental office environment with strong administrative support skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to orthodontics or dentistry for effective communication
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Familiarity with office software, scheduling systems, and insurance processing tools
- Prior experience in a dental or orthodontic office is highly preferred but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting, especially as an assistant, is highly preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Cloud 9- preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontic/dental terminology, CPT coding- preferred
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with dental insurance verification- preferred
- Willing to learn and assist with other aspects of the patient experience as needed
