We are searching for our newest talent to fill an RDA position in our practice. Individuals must love orthodontics and desire long-term employment that is not just a job but a career. We would highly prefer some prior orthodontic chair side assisting experience but are open to training an RDA that is newer and has the desire to grow within the orthodontic field. Top notch patient care and people skills a must.

Pay scale: Competitive compensation will be commensurate based on prior orthodontic experience and the amount of training needed.

$25-$38/hr. (Based on skills and overall experience)

Position Hours:

Full-Time (4-5 days/wk.)

Monday 9-6pm
Tuesday 8-5pm
Wednesday 8-5pm
Thursday 7:30-5pm
Friday 8-1pm (twice a month)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior orthodontic chair-side experience HIGHLY preferred but WILING TO TRAIN the right person with the needed licensing and outstanding personality along with the eagerness to learn and grow while maintaining long-term employment.
  • Current California RDA or OAP license required
  • Current X-ray license
  • CPR certificate

Ortho Chair-side duties include but not limited to:

Sterilization, chair side assisting, untie/retie patients, try-in appliances, mix cement, prepare teeth for bonding, polishing teeth, placing brackets, setup and break down chairs, maintain all standards of infection control, restocking, ordering, Alginate impressions, pouring up models, trimming models, making vacuum form retainers, taking Pano and Ceph x-rays, adequate abilities with computers and a plus if candidate has experience with tops ortho software. General maintenance and cleaning of the office although we have weekly professional cleaners.

-Hard working, detailed in their work, and enthusiastic about learning.

-Willing to help to promote the practice such as Marketing to dental offices and representing the practice at local events.

-We are wanting someone that has the drive to want to work and excel in their career. Long-term commitment is very important.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
