Overview
We are seeking a friendly, approachable, and adaptable Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. This position will primarily serve our Pell City office once training is complete.

All training will take place at our Oxford location, and new hires will report there during the training period. Our Pell City office is currently operational; however, team members will transition to working there full-time only after completing training. Occasional travel between the Oxford and Pell City offices may be required.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an open clinic environment and demonstrates excellent communication skills, a passion for face-to-face patient interaction, and the ability to connect with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures
- Take dental x-rays and photo sets for patient chart
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories
- Provide chair-side assistance during orthodontic treatments
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed

- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit.

- Provide clear and effective communication with patients and staff

-Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and be open to learning and growing with our practice.

-Travel between our Oxford and Pell City locations as required.

- Cross training other in-office positions

Qualifications

-No prior experience in orthodontics required, but a willingness to learn and be open to constructive feedback is essential. (Experience welcome)

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work well with patients and team members of all ages.

-A friendly, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

-Bi-lingual (not required)
