About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at PERFECT SMILES ORTHODONTICS PC as an Orthodontic Assistant, where your skills will help create beautiful smiles! We are looking for a passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to support our orthodontic team in delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures and patient examinations.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Take radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Take orthodontic records: photograph, scan, PAN, CephL
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records and scheduling to maintain efficient office operations.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout treatment.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care and office workflow.
- participate in Social Media efforts
- participate in business developement
- Be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 8:45AM to 7PM and one Saturday/month from 8:45 AM to 2PM
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience as an orthodontic assistant or in a dental setting of one year or more.
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills for patient record management.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.
