Orthodontic Assistant

Ortho 99 Plus 1 is looking for a full time Orthodontic assistant to join our private practice. This position would travel between our Bartram Park and Orange Park office locations. Duties include:

• Assisting the Orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures, including bonding and adjustments.
• Accuracy of taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth).
• Accuracy of updating patient's medical history at each visit.
• Accuracy of posting patient services and completion of clinical notes.
• Serving as an infection control officer, following infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Assist with inventory supply needs and maintain inventory control
• Follow OSHA/HIPPA compliance guidelines

Experience and Qualifications:

• 2 years experience preferred
