Orthodontic Assistant/Front Desk (Part-Time, Growth-Oriented Private Practice)

Our modern, patient-centered orthodontic practice is looking for a motivated Orthodontic Assistant / Front Desk team member who takes pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Schedule

  • Alternating Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday: 8:20 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Most Wednesdays: 8:40 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 2nd Saturday of each month: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Occasional community events (1–2x/month, paid)

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk / Administrative

  • Answer phones professionally and efficiently
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
  • Insurance verification and processing payments
  • Patient communication (calls, texts, follow-ups)
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized records
  • Keep reception area clean and welcoming

Clinical Support

  • Take intraoral/extraoral photos, X-rays, and digital scans
  • Assist with orthodontic procedures (training provided)
  • Sterilization and clinic organization
  • Maintain a clean, efficient clinical environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a structured, fast-paced setting
  • Fine motor skills and comfort working hands-on with patients
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a desire for long-term growth

Preferred (but not required):

  • Dental or orthodontic experience
  • Front desk or scheduling experience
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and software
