Overview
We are a growing Orthodontic office seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented superstar "Smile Architect"(Orthodontic Assistant) to join our dynamic dental team. We are looking for the right person to help us create amazing smiles and to promote our office culture and core values. We are a private practice specializing in orthodontics looking to add a team member to our family, not just an employee to punch the clock.

Your daily primary duty will be to make each patient's visit to our office the BEST part of theist day by delivering smiles while having fun. We love getting to know all types of people, as the ability to communicate effectively and connect with patients and their parents is important.

We are looking for a team member with a magnetic personality who is focused on patient experience- an individual who is pleasant, outgoing, professional, efficient, detail-oriented, patient and understands the importance of teamwork.

We are looking for someone who loves to learn and who embraces challenges, change and growth. You must be self-motivated and proactive. Out office believes in continual personal and professional growth.

This position is 3-4 days per week(averaging 24-32 hours). Flexibility is important as we grow. We are not open on weekends, but the position may require you to occasionally help after hours and/or on weekends to participate in marketing, promotional, continuing education and team building events.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Ortho2 or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
  • 1 year of full time orthodontic experience
  • Radiology certification from Indiana Department of Health is Required
  • CPR Certification
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and orthodontics.
  • Familiarity with infection control procedures in a dental clinic setting.
  • Experience or knowledge in pediatrics, endodontics, and vital signs monitoring is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate iTero 3D scanners for imaging purposes is a plus.
  • Experience with Invisalign/SureSmile/Clear aligner therapy
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
