Responsibilities
- Assist during various procedures, including bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance fittings, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare treatment areas by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring aseptic technique is maintained at all times.
- Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Manage patient records and maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Provide patient education on orthodontic care, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment instructions in a clear and friendly manner.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation efficiently.
- Dr. McReath's practice has three locations, Portage, Baraboo and Prairie du Sac.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment with a focus on orthodontics or pediatric dentistry is highly preferred but not necessary, we will train the right candidate .
