Orthodontic Dental Assistant

CHT Orthodontics is seeking a full-time Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. We are committed to delivering exceptional orthodontic care, and our assistants play an important role in creating a smooth, positive experience for every patient.

Schedule:

• Monday: 8:45AM - 6:00PM
• Tuesday: 7:45AM - 5:00PM
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 7:15AM - 4:30PM
• Friday: 10:00AM - 4:00PM

*Wednesday shift is as needed

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
• Coronal polishing certification required
• Assist with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide pre- and post-care instructions
• Assist the dentist during procedures while ensuring patient comfort and readiness
• Prepare and organize instruments, equipment, and materials for appointments
• Take and process dental X-rays in accordance with safety standards
• Monitor and order supplies to maintain proper inventory
• Accurately document treatment information in patient records

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
