Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Schulz Orthodontics is seeking a highly motivated person to join our growing team!

We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and passionate individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The role involves providing excellent customer service and patient care to our patients and their families.

We are willing to train the right candidate! Both inexperienced and trained orthodontic assistants are welcome to apply!

Duties:

• Assist the orthodontist procedures and exams with patients.
• Prepare the patient for the orthodontist by taking x-rays, removing wires and appliances, performing preliminary examinations
• Take directions from the orthodontist and anticipate their needs as well as the patients' needs.
• Assist is braces adjustments and aligner treatment
• Inform patients of pre-op and post-op instructions.
• Prepare for procedures by organizing instruments and equipment.
• Sterilize and disinfect orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Input information into our computer system to keep accurate records.
• Work closely with office management and support staff throughout the day.

Job Type: Full-time, no weekends, paid time off

Pay: Pay determined by experience and qualifications

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
