Ozier Orthodontics is a patient-centered orthodontic practice dedicated to creating confident, healthy smiles for patients of all ages. Dr. Mark Ozier and our team are passionate about providing exceptional care in a warm, welcoming environment. We invest in our people and love helping team members grow professionally.

Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is excited to pursue a career as an orthodontic dental assistant AND has a passion for social media and content creation. This is a dual-role position where clinical dental assisting is the primary focus, with social media coordination as a meaningful secondary responsibility. This would be a great job for a recent high school graduate looking for a path into dentistry.

No RDA license is required to apply. We will train the right candidate from the ground up. You will be expected to earn your Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential within one year of hire through the experience-based pathway and testing available through Collin County College.

Primary Responsibilities: Orthodontic Dental Assisting

  • Assist Dr. Ozier chairside during patient appointments
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and patient records
  • Take and process X-rays, photos, and digital scans
  • Place and remove orthodontic appliances under supervision
  • Provide patients with instructions on oral hygiene and appliance care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
  • Build genuine relationships with patients and their families

Secondary Responsibilities: Social Media Coordination

  • Create and publish weekly content across all practice social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google, etc.)
  • Develop engaging, on-brand content that reflects the practice culture and team personality
  • Capture behind-the-scenes moments, patient milestone celebrations (with consent), and team highlights
  • Schedule and manage posts to maintain consistent platform activity
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner
  • Collaborate with the office manager on campaign ideas and promotional content

Note: All necessary equipment and materials to capture content will be provided by the practice.

What We Are Looking For

  • Genuine interest in pursuing orthodontic dental assisting as a career
  • Active or in-progress pursuit of RDA licensure is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and how to create engaging content
  • Comfortable using social media scheduling and content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, friendly personality
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Reliable, professional, and a true team player
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus but not required

RDA Licensure Requirement

Candidates are not required to hold their RDA at the time of hire. Ozier Orthodontics will provide on-the-job training to help you meet the clinical experience hours required. You will be expected to complete your RDA through Collin County College's experience-based pathway and pass your licensing exam within one year of your start date. We will support you through this process.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay commensurate with experience
  • A fun, supportive team environment where you are valued
  • On-the-job training and a clear pathway to RDA licensure
  • Consistent Monday through Friday schedule (no evenings, no weekends)
  • Opportunity to grow within the practice
  • A role that lets you be both clinically skilled and creatively engaged

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Employee discount
  • Paid time off
  • Paid training
  • Uniform allowance
