Orthodontic Dental Assistant trainee

No previous Orthodontic experience? No problem! We will provide necessary training. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant trainee to join our State of the art Orthodontic practice! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and assisting orthodontists in delivering high-quality treatments. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

If the candidate is the right person, we will sponsor the courses and exams to acquire dental Xray license and RDA (registered dental assistant) license.

Responsibilities

  • Assist orthodontist chair side when the orthodontist is treating patients, ensuring a smooth workflow and patient comfort.
  • Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and hygienic workspace.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Orthodontics is a plus, but not a must.
  • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring patient privacy.

Pay range: $25-$30 per hour
