Orthodontic Front Desk Scheduler - Atlee

Virginia Family Dentistry is looking for an Orthodontic Front Desk professional to join our Atlee Specialty Center team! The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in orthodontics administration/ treatment coordination, and some clinical experience is preferred.

Pay range for this position is $17-25/hr. Pay is contingent on experience.

Typical work hours are 4.5 days per week, 8am-5pm.

Duties

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Review doctor's schedule daily to fill any open appointment times. Monitor changes continuously throughout the day as schedule changes to fill open times
• Confirm, schedule, and follow up on unscheduled appointments
• Answer telephones and check office emails daily
• Run necessary patient reports and make follow up and treatment calls
• Ensure all patient appointment information is up to date
• Assist other team members as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 or more years of orthodontic office experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
