Orthodontic Records Technician

Job Overview
Our busy two-doctor orthodontic office is looking to add a full-time Records Technician to our team! We are a one location, locally owned office that has been serving Peoria’s orthodontic needs since 1980. As a team we treat all patients, parents, and each other with respect and kindness. We strive to provide the highest quality orthodontic and professional care possible and to make our office environment a positive and rewarding experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist orthodontists in patient assessment and treatment procedures, especially removal appointments
• Intraoral scanning through the use of iTero scanners for Invisalign, retainers and appliances
• Communicate effectively with our pediatric and adult orthodontic patients
• Proficiently take x-rays, and intra-oral/extra-oral photos

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficient in technology related to electronic treatment charting and iTero intraoral scanning
• Willingness to learn new techniques and skills
• Knowledge of pediatric orthodontic procedures and techniques

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm and rotational Fridays 8:00 am–12:00 pm(all Fridays while being trained)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
