Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a strong background in orthodontics. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, developing treatment plans, and utilizing advanced techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The Orthodontist will work closely with a team of dental professionals to deliver comprehensive care in a supportive environment.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine orthodontic needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and preferences.
- Perform orthodontic procedures, including the placement of braces, aligners, and other corrective devices.
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists in areas such as pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of following treatment plans.
- Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for patient management.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques.
Skills
- Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to orthodontics.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and facial structure.
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices for treating younger patients.
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other necessary procedures as required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
- Strong organizational skills for managing medical records and documentation effectively.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per day
