Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontics and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, developing treatment plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained throughout the treatment process. we are seeking a bilingual orthodontist who speaks Spanish preferably

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing clinical examinations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Utilize advanced orthodontic techniques and technologies, including but not limited to braces, aligners, and retainers.
  • Perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgeries as necessary.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in a four-handed dentistry environment to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining their orthodontic appliances.
  • Stay current with advancements in orthodontics through continuous education and training.

Experience

  • A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
  • Proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with pediatric patients is essential.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging practices.
  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,400.00 per day
