Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our dynamic orthodontic team only on Fridays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, providing exceptional patient care, and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients. You will learn latest techniques like TAD's , MARPE, use of Lingual appliances like BRAVA, labial appliances like Pitts, Celebrace etc. Dr. Yelizar will work along side with you sharing his knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for orthodontic care.
  • Utilize advanced orthodontic techniques and technologies, including medical imaging and dental fabrication, to achieve optimal results.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure effective communication and patient management throughout the treatment process.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health.
  • Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Stay updated on advancements in orthodontics to enhance service delivery.

Skills

  • Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to orthodontics.
  • Experience with dental office software such as cloud9 is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of orthodontic dentistry principles and practices.
  • Excellent patient assessment skills with an emphasis on compassionate care.
  • Knowledge of anatomy related to orthodontic treatments.
  • Strong understanding ofinfection control measures.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

Education:

  • Doctorate (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • NYS Dental License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Rego Park, NY 11374 (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
