Orthodontist

We're looking for a licensed Orthodontist to join our dental practice located in Palatine and Mount Prospect. The successful candidate will work closely with other dental professionals and staff to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with patients of all ages.

The position available is for part time a few days a month in each location.

Duties:

- Diagnose and treat dental malocclusions and oral abnormalities
- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals
- Install and adjust orthodontic appliances such as braces, retainers, and aligners
- Monitor patients' progress throughout the course of treatment
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide guidance on maintaining orthodontic appliances
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontic techniques and technologies

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program
- Valid state dental license to practice as an orthodontist
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and other members of the dental team
- Ability to analyze complex dental cases and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in the field
