Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive orthodontic evaluations, including X-rays, impressions, and photographs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Install and adjust orthodontic appliances such as braces, retainers, and clear aligners.
- Monitor patient progress throughout the course of treatment and make necessary adjustments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals, including general dentists and oral surgeons, to coordinate multidisciplinary treatment when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience throughout their orthodontic journey.
About you!
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Certificate of completion of a residency from an accredited post-graduate Orthodontic Program.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry in MA.
- Proven experience working as an Orthodontist, with a strong track record of successful orthodontic treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Dedication to staying current with advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles.
Work Schedule:
- Ideally 4 Tuesdays per month; 8 hours per day
- Schedule is negotiable for the right candidate
