Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthodontist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern facility with advanced technology, providing comprehensive orthodontic care to diverse patient populations, including pediatric and adult patients. The Orthodontist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including clinical examinations and diagnostic imaging, to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement orthodontic treatment strategies utilizing braces, aligners, retainers, and other appliances.
  • Treat and manage cases from mild to complex using traditional bonded appliances and clear aligners.
  • Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using electronic health record systems like Open Dental or Dentrix.
  • Educate patients on treatment options, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants treat and manage patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in orthodontics, dental materials, and technology to provide state-of-the-art care.
  • Adhere to all safety standards including aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and dental imaging techniques.
  • Orthodontic treatment planning multiple modalities
  • Experience with dental fabrication processes and the use of various orthodontic appliances.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Schedules are busy and the practices are growing. This is not a DSO. This is a group practice, in the greater Las Vegas area looking for our next great provider!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $1,600.00 - $1,800.00 per day

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
