Orthopedic Doctor

Orthopaedic Doctor Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis

 Conduct thorough physical examinations and evaluate medical history to

assess orthopaedic conditions.

 Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, MRI scans, CT scans,

and blood work.

 Identify and diagnose a wide range of orthopaedic issues such as:

 Bone fractures

 Joint dislocations

 Arthritis and degenerative joint diseases

 Tendon and ligament injuries

 Spine deformities and disorders

2. Non-Surgical Management

 Prescribe and monitor conservative treatment plans, including:

 Physical therapy and rehabilitation

 Pain management through medications.

 Use of assistive devices such as braces, orthotics, or splints

 Educate patients and families on condition management and injury

prevention.

3. Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Care

 Collaborate with physiotherapists and rehabilitation teams for recovery

planning and follow-up.

4. Patient Education and Communication

 Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, to patients and families.

 Maintain empathy and professionalism when addressing patient concerns.

Obtain informed consent and discuss risks, benefits, and recovery

expectations.

5. Clinical Promotion & Advocacy

 Act as the medical face of the organization to present the technology to

hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.

 Conduct clinical discussions, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and

workshops with doctors, physiotherapists, and orthopaedic specialists.

 Provide scientific and medical insights on how the technology benefits

patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

6. Training & Demonstration

 Train healthcare staff and end-users on correct application and protocols of

the technology.

 Demonstrate device efficacy through case studies and clinical results.

7. Clinical Validation & Documentation

 Collect, analyze, and document patient feedback and treatment outcomes.

 Support ongoing clinical research and publications related to the technology.
