Job Summary

The Orthopedic Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing musculoskeletal conditions while providing advanced surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care. This role requires extensive experience in orthopedic surgeries, particularly involving the hips, knees, and shoulders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, excellent patient care standards, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions.
  • Perform orthopedic surgeries with a focus on hip, knee, and shoulder procedures.
  • Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-ups to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based medical practices.
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, MRI, and CT scans.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and patient safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and clinical quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Medical Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Board Certification or equivalent qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Orthopedic Specialist.
  • Proven surgical expertise in hip, knee, and shoulder surgeries.
  • Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure as per local regulatory requirements.
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and patient-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
