Orthopedic Surgeon

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our healthcare team. Bay Area Occupational Medical Group is an Urgent Care facility in the heart of downtown San Jose Silicon Valley. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of clinical skills and experience in various medical specialties, ensuring high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient service, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and adherence to best practices in clinical settings. We specialize in workers' compensation occupational health.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records.
• Engage in clinical research and contribute to the development of best practices in patient care.
• Support patients through various stages of care including inpatient, outpatient, and post-operative settings.
• Assist in triage processes and emergency situations in an out patient urgent care clinic environment.

Experience
Candidates should have a robust background in healthcare with experience or knowledge in the following areas:

• EHR systems and EMR systems proficiency
• Medical imaging techniques including interventional radiology
• Experience in acute care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine
• Basic life support certification and knowledge of aseptic techniques
• Understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding.
• Prior experience in roles involving workers' compensation and occupational medicine.
