Position Summary

Lafayette Bone and Joint Clinic is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join our established and growing practice. This high-demand role offers immediate patient volume, strong referral support, and the opportunity to further develop the Foot & Ankle service line. The ideal candidate is an orthopedic-trained surgeon committed to quality patient care and collaborative teamwork. Lafayette Bone and Joint Clinic is a well-established, multi-specialty orthopedic practice serving Lafayette and the surrounding Acadiana region for over 40 years. Our team of fellowship-trained physicians provides comprehensive care across all areas of orthopedics, including sports medicine, joint replacement, spine care, hand surgery, and general orthopedics. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care supported by advanced diagnostics, onsite imaging, and a dedicated therapy department. Located in the heart of Lafayette—a vibrant, culturally rich community—our clinic offers a collaborative environment where physicians can build a rewarding, long-term practice while making a meaningful impact on the health of our region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a full range of Foot & Ankle conditions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
  • Participate in PAID call coverage as assigned (1 in 10 call schedule)
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Contribute to practice development and growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • MD from an accredited institution
  • Completion of Orthopedic residency and Foot & Ankle fellowship
  • Board-certified/board-eligible required
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Louisiana
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Schedule & Call

Full-time, Office hours, M-Th 8-5, Fr 8-noon, Paid Call (1 in 10 call schedule)
