Orthopedics Physician Assistant

We have an immediate and ongoing need for a full-time Orthopedic APP (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our team for day and night weekday coverage. This is a call-only position with a focus on trauma.

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Coverage Type: Call Only (with call back)
• Schedule: Day shifts are 8-12 hours with after-hours call. Providers will be off-site with call back required. Two APPs will be on during the day, with one on at night.
• Patient Volume: 5-10 patients per shift.
• Hospital Beds: 12-30
• Required Skills:
• Must be experienced and comfortable with trauma cases, including fracture reductions.
• Must be comfortable working independently and calling the Trauma or Orthopedic surgeons for backup as needed.
• Must have experience as an OR assist and with suturing.
• Required Certification: ACLS
• Licensing: Must be licensed in Pennsylvania (PA) .
