Position Summary

We are hiring an experienced OSP Lead to manage and supervise outside plant operations for large-scale telecom infrastructure projects. This role is critical for ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality delivery of fiber optic and external network deployments across Saudi Arabia.

Detailed Job Description

As an OSP Lead, you will oversee the execution of outside plant projects, including fiber optic network implementation and external plant construction. You will lead field teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, and ensure compliance with telecom standards and safety regulations. The role involves monitoring project timelines, budgets, and resources, troubleshooting technical issues on-site, and conducting quality assurance checks. You will also prepare detailed progress reports and ensure smooth communication between stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise OSP teams and field crews for efficient operations.
• Oversee fiber optic network implementation and external plant construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and telecom best practices.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams for seamless project delivery.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and provide expert guidance for network deployment.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks for all OSP activities.
• Prepare and submit reports on project progress, risks, and completion status.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in OSP or telecommunications infrastructure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with the DU network (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic networks, OSP construction methods, and telecom standards.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with GIS tools and OSP design software.
• Knowledge of advanced fiber splicing and testing techniques.
• Experience in large-scale telecom rollout projects.
