OT Assistant Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Operative Preparation
• Prepare OT prior to scheduled surgeries.
• Ensure availability of surgical instruments, implants, and consumables.
• Check functionality of OT equipment (monitors, suction, cautery, OT lights).
• Assist in patient identification, consent verification, and shifting to OT.
• Intra-Operative Assistance
• Assist surgeons and scrub nurses during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic precautions.
• Assist anesthetist during induction and monitoring.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies as instructed.
• Post-Operative Care
• Assist in shifting patient to recovery room/ICU.
• Ensure proper cleaning and preparation of OT for next case.
• Support in documentation of OT records.
• Infection Control & Safety
• Follow strict infection control protocols.
• Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation.
• Coordinate with CSSD for sterilization of instruments.
• Participate in OT fumigation and cleaning schedules.
• Coordination & Documentation
• Maintain OT registers and checklists.
• Coordinate with ward staff, ICU, CSSD, and housekeeping.
• Report equipment malfunction to Biomedical/Maintenance team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
