OT Assistant - Ortho

Experience 2-3 Yr Previous hands-on experience in an orthopedic operating theatre is preferred.

Job Description :

Stock supplies: Manage and organize inventory of specialized orthopedic supplies, including screws, plates, sutures, and casting materials

Position patient: Assist the surgical team in safely transferring and positioning the patient on the operating table. Use correct positioning devices to prevent nerve injury or pressure ulcers during long procedures.

Scrub in and assist: Perform the "scrub" role by assisting the surgeon directly. This includes passing instruments, retracting tissue, and managing the sterile field.

Manage equipment: Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment, such as a C-arm for real-time imaging during procedures or arthroscopic equipment.

Instrument count: Post Procedure Clean, Perform and track instrument, sponge, and needle counts with the circulating nurse to prevent any items from being left inside the patient.

Must have a 2 Wheeler.

Salary: 16-25 k As per experience
