Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Operative Duties:
- Check and prepare the OT with required instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies before surgery.
- Verify patient identity, surgical site, and consent forms.
- Assist in preparing the patient for surgery (positioning, catheterization, IV line, shaving, etc.).
- Ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available and functional.
2. Intra-Operative Duties:
- Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques throughout the procedure.
- Assist surgeons and anesthetists during operations.
- Handle surgical instruments efficiently and ensure sponge and instrument counts are correct.
- Monitor patient vitals (if required) and report abnormalities promptly.
- Ensure documentation of all materials used during surgery.
3. Post-Operative Duties:
- Assist in transferring the patient safely to the recovery room.
- Monitor the patient until stable and hand over to recovery staff.
- Clean and prepare the OT for the next surgery.
- Properly dispose of biomedical waste as per hospital protocols.
4. Infection Control & Safety:
- Follow infection control policies and aseptic techniques at all times.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the OT.
5. Documentation & Records:
- Maintain surgical records, instrument counts, and utilization registers.
- Record usage of consumables and report shortages to OT Incharge.
- Report equipment malfunction or maintenance requirements promptly.
6. Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OT staff meetings and training programs.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethics.
- Assist in emergency surgeries when required.
- Coordinate with other departments (Anesthesia, CSSD, ICU, etc.) for smooth workflow.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
