Job Title: OT Technician Location: Spectra Eye Hospital, Madhyamgram, Kolkata, West Bengal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OT Technician to join our team at Spectra Eye Hospital. The ideal candidate will assist in the operation theatre by preparing equipment, maintaining sterile conditions, and supporting surgeons during ophthalmic surgeries to ensure smooth procedures and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment before, during, and after eye surgeries.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during operations.
• Ensure that the OT is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Monitor and maintain sterilization logs and inventory of OT materials.
• Support patient positioning and safety protocols in the OT.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow hospital protocols for infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare staff to ensure efficient operation theatre functioning.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Operation Theatre Technology or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an eye hospital or ophthalmic OT preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

Work Hours:

• Full-time position
• Rotational shifts as per hospital schedule
