OT Technician (Operation Theatre Technician)

Hospital: Bismillah Hospital
Location: Main Road Baluch Colony, Opposite City School PAF Chapter, Karachi

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible OT Technician to assist in surgical operations, maintain operation theatre equipment, and ensure a sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operation theatre before surgeries (instruments, equipment, sterile setup)
• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses during surgical procedures
• Ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and properly arranged
• Handle OT equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Maintain cleanliness and strict infection control protocols in OT
• Assist in patient preparation and shifting before and after surgery
• Dispose of medical waste according to hospital policies

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in OT Technology / Surgical Technology
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and OT procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
• Good teamwork and communication Skills
