ENT Doctor (Otolaryngologist) is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. This role includes both medical and surgical care for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, head, and neck
  • Perform examinations using specialized ENT instruments and diagnostic tests
  • Manage hearing, balance, voice, swallowing, and sinus disorders
  • Perform minor and major ENT surgical procedures when required
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care
  • Educate patients on disease prevention and post-treatment care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
  • Adhere to medical ethics, hospital policies, and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate specialization in ENT/Otolaryngology
  • Valid medical license to practice
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience

  • Fresh graduates or experienced ENT specialists (as per facility requirements)
  • Experience in hospital or clinical settings preferred
